1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SC Contract Exchange, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
SC Contract Exchange is a sealed-bid contract marketplace for Star Citizen player organizations. The platform facilitates agreements between organizations for the exchange of in-game goods and services using in-game currency (aUEC). No real-world money is exchanged through this platform.
3. Not Affiliated with CIG
SC Contract Exchange is an independent community platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or the Star Citizen intellectual property. Star Citizen® is a registered trademark of Cloud Imperium Games.
4. Eligibility
You must have a valid Discord account to use this platform. By using the platform, you represent that your use complies with Discord's Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. In-Game Transactions Only
All contracts, bids, and agreements facilitated through SC Contract Exchange relate exclusively to in-game Star Citizen assets and aUEC (in-game currency). The platform bears no responsibility for disputes involving real-world money or assets outside the game.
6. User Conduct
You agree to use the platform in good faith. Submitting bids you do not intend to honor, manipulating the platform, harassing other users, or engaging in fraud are prohibited and may result in your organization being permanently banned. Detailed conduct rules are outlined in our Platform Rules, which form part of these Terms.
7. Platform Authority
SC Contract Exchange administrators reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any organization or user who violates these Terms or the Platform Rules, at their sole discretion, with or without prior notice. We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform at any time.
8. Dispute Resolution
The platform provides a reporting and review system to help resolve disputes between organizations. However, SC Contract Exchange is not a legal arbitration service. We make no guarantees about the outcome of any dispute. Platform moderation decisions are final.
9. Limitation of Liability
SC Contract Exchange is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of SC Contract Exchange shall not be liable for any loss of in-game assets, missed contracts, platform downtime, or any other damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Intellectual Property
The SC Contract Exchange name, logo, and platform code are the property of their respective creators. You may not reproduce or redistribute platform content without permission.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
